    My Husband and I are from out of town and just celebrated our 15 year anniversary here. He is not an Oyster fan, but we were both very impressed with our selection. Our favorite was the Kumamoto, 2nd was the Shigoku and we also liked the Dabob Bay.

    The atmosphere was quaint and romantic. Our server was very attentive & professional. Parking was fine, but when busy could be a problem. We made a reservation, but 2 other groups were able to be seated without reservations.

    My food favorite was by far the oysters, I also had the daily special of Sole on a bed of mashed potatoes with green beans & carrots topped with crab. It was good but needed a bit more seasoning for my taste and more sauce.

    My Husband ordered the smoked halibut chowder for his appetizer, which was delicious. For dinner he ordered the 4oz medium rare filet mignon topped with 2 large prawns on a bed of mashed potatoes, carrots, beens & zucchini. The filet was “buttery melt in your mouth” so yummy! And the prawns were delicious as well. My husband won for best dinner selection.

    Featured Wine: Domaine Magdalena Cabernet Sauvignon

    (Bin #1114 $87) This sophisticated, balanced Washington Red is everything a Cabernet from Red Mountain should be. It’s fine tannins accent the beautiful notes of blackberry, rose petal and earth. Domaine Magdalena is not only beautifully made but also thoughtfully made. The wine undergoes wild yeast fermentation, is unfiltered and is Demeter certified biodynamic. This wine can stand alone but would pair nicely with so many of our dishes including our vegetarian and wild game options.
