La Storia Petite Sirah Bin #761 $75

This gorgeous Petite Sirah is one of the newest additions to our list and is quickly becoming one of our favorites! La Storia is made by Trentadue in California’s Alexander Valley completely from estate grown grapes. The Petite Sirah is blended with small percentages of Zinfandel, Syrah, Malbec, Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. The result is a lush, jammy, juicy, intense wine with fine tannins and a nice, long finish. The beautiful nose of blueberries and blackberries carries through to the full-bodied palate along with flavors of cocoa, violets and earth.

BLACK TEARS MALBEC

Bin # 838 $93
We were fortunate enough to acquire several bottles of this beautifully made high altitude Malbec. The grapes are grown in Mendoza’s Uco Valley at over 4400 feet above sea level. The elevation and it’s proximity to the mountains contribute to the intensity of this rich, savory and balanced wine. This Malbec is expertly crafted using a lengthy process which includes fermentation in stainless steel tanks, two years in new French oak barrels and at least another year of bottle storage. The result is a wine of intensity, complexity and balance. This wine pairs nicely with our mouthwatering prime steaks!

Bruno Giacosa Dolcetto d’Alba

Bin # 865
$63

Fall is upon us and the holidays are approaching. It’s the time of year when we’re enjoying the bounties of the season. Whether it be locally foraged mushrooms, hearty vegetable dishes or fresh regional seafood, here at the Oyster Bar you’ll have no problem finding just the right pairing.

This time of the year one of our favorites is a supple and juicy Dolcetto d’Alba from Bruno Giacosa.  Aromas of violets, chocolate and strawberries lead to a vibrant palate of ripe plums and cherries punctuated with warm spice notes.  This versatile Italian delight will compliment a wide range of our dishes.

Domaine Magdalena Cabernet Sauvignon

This sophisticated, balanced Washington Red is everything a Cabernet from Red Mountain should be. It’s fine tannins accent the beautiful notes of blackberry, rose petal and earth.

Domaine Magdalena is not only beautifully made but also thoughtfully made. The wine undergoes wild yeast fermentation, is unfiltered and is Demeter certified biodynamic.

This wine can stand alone but would pair nicely with so many of our dishes including our vegetarian and wild game options.
