This is why when you order baked oysters at The Oyster Bar on Chuckanut Drive, you can rest easy knowing that our version is something special. Best of all, our recipe has been perfected over the years, with the right combination of ingredients yielding a tasty dish that you are sure to love.

    Our extensive wine cellar also has the perfect wines to compliment your oysters. Some of the best wines to pair with our oysters include:

    • Muscadet – With a crispy, refreshing taste and the subtle saltiness of oysters, Muscadet is an excellent wine to enjoy with these baked bivalves
    • Chablis – A dry, minerally wine that goes well with all kinds of seafood, including oysters.
    • Sancerre –  A pleasant, clean flavor with a delicate mineral undertone. Sancerre tastes excellent with shellfish, including oysters, lobster, crabmeat, shrimp, and clams.

    Featured Wine: Domaine Magdalena Cabernet Sauvignon

    (Bin #1114 $87) This sophisticated, balanced Washington Red is everything a Cabernet from Red Mountain should be. It’s fine tannins accent the beautiful notes of blackberry, rose petal and earth. Domaine Magdalena is not only beautifully made but also thoughtfully made. The wine undergoes wild yeast fermentation, is unfiltered and is Demeter certified biodynamic. This wine can stand alone but would pair nicely with so many of our dishes including our vegetarian and wild game options.
